Past Music Projects
Monday Rap Classes @ Scoil Iosagáin Farranree, Cork:
This was a 6 month project from December 2010 to June 2011, where all classes from 1st class to 6th class each participated in 6 one-hour-long rap classes on Mondays.
The end result was a 22 track CD full of humourous and positive rap tracks. The CD sold almost 150 copies in less than 2 days, helping the school to raise €750 euro. Teachers were amazed at how many students, some of whom pay little attention to their school work, showed massive enthusiasm when writing and performing their raps. The kids experienced a new way in exxpressing themselves musically and creatively.
