New Release Inspired by Hit BBC TV Show “Young Offenders”

To tie in with Danny Power’s debut TV appearance in Season 2 of the BBC Three show “The Young Offenders”, The Kabin Studio have released a song and music video inspired by the show. Both Danny and Daniel Sheehan (from “The Kabinologists”) worked with GMCBeats and other local writers and musicians to create this pure Cork tune.

The Kabinologists is rap collective that makes tunes inspired by the characters in their city. They also engage in youth songwriting and recording projects that encourage young people in the local community to make their own music.

The two Daniels have attended rap, beats and songwriting workshops with Garry McCarthy at the Kabin Studio, Music Generation Cork City and Youth Work Ireland Cork (The Hut) over the past few years. Daniel Sheehan is currently working on his own EP under the alias of “Jester” and Danny recently played the lead role in a short film called “Christy” directed by Brendan Canty, which premiered at Cork Film Festival on 16/11/19.
